Dye Machine Operator - 2 available

Hours:	Hourly Position (one available) 2nd Shift, 4:00 pm-Midnight (Monday-Friday) Hourly Position (one available) 2nd Shift, Midnight-8:00 am (Sunday thru Thursday)
Requirements:	Ability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to distinguish color variations Reading, writing, basic math skills Ability to maneuver steps
Description:	Follow all safety rules and wear required safety equipment Load and unload machines with yarn Weigh and mix dyes and chemicals Fill machines with water, dyes, chemicals Operate machine controls to follow procedure for length of time and temperature to dye correct shade Identify correct yarn type and count Sample yarn, dry, condition Assist in reviewing shade for proper match, add and make adjustments to dyeings Assist in calculating correct dye formulas Neutralize dye bath, drop, and rinse Weigh, mix, and apply retardant as needed Regular attendance required Any reasonable task assigned by supervisor
